I coach style and design development to those who want to identify their own style in Jewelry. I have been in the jewelry industry for 39 years. Much of my work has been in creating private commissions where I make someone else’s ideas come to life. I have been teaching privately in my studio as well as in an academic setting. It takes time to develop your own style and not emulate others style that they have developed. Viewing other peoples designs can be very inspirational, but it is important to not cross over that thin line of copying others works.
I have found that in teaching, one is coming back to the point of the freshest part of creativity. When I was developing my own style of design, I would try to envision what someone else (a buyer) might want to see in a design. I realized that they want to see what comes out of me and not a combination of other styles around me.Inquire about Coaching
